The proficiency level of a weapon increases with prolonged use. Each weapon type has its own proficiency level that increases when the Weapon EXP earned by defeating enemies reaches a certain threshold. As your weapon proficiencies increase, you can learn new Sword Skills or level up those you already know.

Currency awarded by the Adventurer's Association upon the completion of multiplayer quests. Used to purchase valuable items from the Item Seller. The number of Ale Coins earned depends on the total number of enemies defeated, with an extra bonus granted upon quest completion.

A dagger with quick, effective attacks at the cost of raw strength. Used by a master swordsman for a range of purposes—from the killing of pompous courtiers to the slitting of aristocratic throats.

Grants a barrier that nullifies one instance of damage after avoiding damage from enemy attacks for a set duration.

An extremely rare monster organ that is traded at a high price, and functions as medicine. They say it can only be obtained from monsters that have been free of illness for more than a hundred years.
